Latmos Survey (Muğla)
Surveys by Anneliese Peschlow of the Latmos area have continued, concentrating on the prehistoric settlements and rock paintings at the eastern end of Lake Bafa and into the Beşparmak Mountains.In 2004 and 2005 they completed the documentation of an Early Bronze Age settlement found in 2003 west of Herakleia, in the valley of Christus-Cave, and identified twenty new rock paintings in several locations. Showing hunters and animals and other figures, these paintings have a distinctive style with heads depicted as a flattened 'M'. One well-preserved painting found in a cave at Ikiz Ada depicts a group of males and females and has been interpreted as a wedding scene.

Latmos Yüzey Araştırması (Muğla)
Latmos bölgesinde Anneliese Peschlow tarafından sürdürülen yüzey araştırmasına devam edilmiş, Bafa Gölü’nün doğu ucundan Beşparmak Dağları’na uzanan alandaki prehistorik yerleşmeler ve kaya resimlerine odaklanılmıştır.2004 ve 2005’te, Herakleia’nın batısında ve Christus-Cave vadisinde yer alan ve 2003’te bulunmuş olan bir İlk Tunç Çağı yerleşiminin belgeleme çalışmaları tamamlanarak çeşitli konumlardaki yirmi yeni kaya resmi tespit edilmiştir. Avcılar, hayvanlar ve çeşitli figürler içeren bu resimler, başların yassı birer “M” gibi gösterildiği ayırt edici bir tarza sahiptir. Bunlardan, İkiz Ada’daki bir mağarada bulunan iyi korunmuş bir resimde, bir grup erkek ve kadın gösterilmektedir; resmin bir düğün sahnesini tasvir ettiği düşünülmüştür.
